Ta’Qali, Malta – The Malta Aviation Museum is proud to announce the launch of a significant new book titled “Air Squadrons, Units, and Operational Detachments Based in Malta 1916 to 2024” authored by Charles Stafrace. This event will take place on September 11th 2024, at the Malta Aviation Museum premises in Ta’Qali.
The book launch will be hosted by Carlo Micallef, CEO of the Malta Tourism Authority, along with the author Charles Stafrace, and Committee members of the Malta Aviation Museum Foundation. Sponsored by Visit Malta, the book offers an in-depth historical account of the air squadrons, units, and operational detachments that have been stationed in Malta over the past century, reflecting the island’s strategic role in global aviation history.
